Our Mission
At Reef Craft, our mission is to protect and restore Western Australia’s coral reefs and marine environments. We’re working to create thriving underwater ecosystems that support marine life, strengthen our coastlines and inspire future generations.
About Reef Craft
Reef Craft is pioneering a new sector in Western Australia’s blue economy, providing marine restoration and offsetting solutions that are scalable, science backed and locally focused.
With more than eight years of research and fieldwork in Cockburn Sound and across WA, our team has now received regulatory approval to begin our first scalable restoration project. This will kickstart our commercialisation and allow us to commence long term research, in collaboration with UWA researchers, to demonstrate the ecological benefits of our work and scale up our business, starting right here in Cockburn Sound.
Our goal is to position Western Australia as a global leader in reef restoration at scale, bringing local expertise and technology to the forefront of environmental innovation.
Our Work
Reef Craft’s work aligns with global trends in carbon and biodiversity credit markets, offering sustainable, measurable ways for industries to meet their ESG and biodiversity targets.
Our three core service areas include:
- Reef Restoration Services: Contracted projects to restore marine habitats near coastal developments.
- Marine Offsetting: Providing localised, science-based solutions to offset marine impacts.
- Future Credits: Developing biodiversity and carbon credits from restored reef ecosystems.
Our proactive, science-based approach ensures every project can be scaled up or down to meet client needs, from large-scale restoration to small coastal enhancement projects.

Every coral farm contributes to our distributed seed bank network, creating secure havens along the coast to preserve Western Australia’s unique marine species for generations to come.
